Āyāgadāyaka Thera:An arahant.In a previous birth he worshipped with gladsome heart the thupa of Sikhī Buddha and gave carpenters money to build an āyāga (a long alms-hall,says ApA.).
As a result he was born in deva worlds and could bring even the devas into subjection.
