Kittinissanka

Kittinissanka：also known as Nissanka Malla，king of Ceylon （1187-1196 A．C．）．He was uparāja of Vijayabāhu II．，and became king after the murder of Mahinda VI．Among his acts of piety were the building of a stone temple for the Tooth Relic at Pulatthipura and the embellishment of the famous rock-temple at Jambukola-vihāra．His son was Virabāhu．For other details see Cv．lxxx．30ff； also Cv．Trs．ii．127，n．1 and 2．
